A wide range of events is provided to support the ongoing professional development of all those involved in education across the diocese.

Professional development and networks will be added to throughout the year.

Individual schools, Teaching School Alliances, neighbouring diocese and national partners contribute to and enhance our programme.

Teaching School Alliance Training

What is the philosophy, moral purose or drive that shapes your leadership as headteacher, chair of governors or local incumbent?  And do you all share the same vision, understanding and approaches?  Yorkshire Anglican TSA offers a bespoke professional development course for all three leaders to learn together.  Details on the TSA page.

Partnership Groups

Partnership groups will play a vital role in enabling and enhancing strong and sustained relationships between the Education Team and colleagues in schools and academies.  In addition they aim to support mutual professional development and understanding of all members of each group. 

New for 2016-17 is the creation of a range of senior leadership partnership groups including;
