Curates Training Programme
Initial Ministerial Education (IME) Phase 2

Curates Handbook 2016-17

A new integrated programme across the
diocese was launched in the summer of 2016.
All curates from the three historic dioceses
which came together to form the Anglican Diocese of
Leeds now follow the same programme
of meetings and the same process of assessment.

3 Strands to Curate Training
•    Learning that happens in the parish with the training incumbent and with the support of the Clergy Development Officer (CDO).
•    Meetings of reflection with other curates and the CDO, including learning about other types of ministry.
•    One academic module per year on an aspect of ministry and theology for all the curates in the Yorkshire Regional Training Partnership.

The IME programme is overseen by the team of Clergy Development Officers (CDO) and delivered in each area by its CDO - see contacts below.
