Academy Improvement Officer
Fixed term for 1 year in the first instance
Salary L10 – L14 Pro rata
Responsible to The Chief Executive Officer
The Learning Accord Multi Academy Trust is looking to appoint a talented individual as an Academy Improvement Officer.
The post is part time (0.6 FTE) and a 1 year fixed term contract in the first instance. It is possible that the hours and length of contract may be extended subject to further funding. The post could be offered as a secondment opportunity subject to agreement with the current employer. The Trust would like to appoint the successful candidate as soon as possible but by 1st September 2018 at the latest.
We are looking to appoint a new Academy Improvement Officer to help support our four member academies and to ensure our children get the best education possible. Significant leadership experience is required with a track record of successful school improvement. Our new Improvement officer will need to work collaboratively to accelerate improvement. At the heart of this role will be working alongside our sponsored academy, Helme Church of England Academy, (Meltham, HD9 5RW), to drive the school improvement process; supporting academy leaders, teaching and support staff, to secure improved outcomes for children.
The successful candidate will be a member of the MAT central leadership team and play a significant role in shaping the future of the Trust.
