RURAL SCHOOLS & COMMUNITIES CHILDREN’S WORKER
NORTH YORKSHIRE (PART-TIME)
The Boys’ Brigade is seeking to appoint a children’s worker to establish BB work in rural schools and communities in North Yorkshire. This will be an exciting and challenging role and will involve planning and delivering activities for newly established groups for children, and helping to actively recruit members (children) and volunteers to ensure sustainability.
A key part of the role will be to build up strong relationships with local schools, churches and communities.
This is a part time position (18 hours per week) on a fixed term contract (October/November 2015 to July 2016). Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends is a requirement for the role. The starting salary will be £20,538 - £21,689 (pro-rata).
