NSPCC Child Protection Helpline: 0808 800 5000 (lines free and open 24 hours). Phone if you are worried about a child.

Child-line: 0800 1111 (lines free and open 24 hours). Phone if you are a child or young person and are worried about anything.

National Domestic Violence Helpline: 0808 2000 247 ((lines free and open 24 hours). Phone if you are experiencing domestic abuse.

Samaritans Helpline: 116 123 (open 24 hours). Phone if you feel you are struggling to cope and need someone to talk to.

Action on Elder Abuse Helpline: 080 8808 8141 ( free phone Monday to Friday 9-5pm)

The Truth Project: 0800 917 1000 (weekdays 8am to 10pm, Saturdays 10am to 12pm)  Giving victims and survivors the opportunity to share their experiences in writing, on the telephone or in person

NAPAC - 0808 801 0331 support [at] napac.org.uk; National Association for People Abused in Childhood provides support to adults who have been abused in any way as children

Modern Slavery - Salvation Army 0300 303 8151 Provides support services for adult victims of trafficking and modern slavery.

National Safeguarding Team

Contact the National Team : The National Safeguarding Team (NST) is working to increase the capacity and expertise of parishes, diocese and other Church of England institutions to respond to safeguarding concerns and support victims and survivors. They are not able to offer either an emergency 24-hour response but there are Safeguarding Advisors in every diocese and Safeguarding Officers in every parish.
