Welcome to a new season of drop in chats, webinars and discussion groups aimed at helping you and your church with your mission and ministry to care for God’s Creation. Come along to every online session or pick out the areas where you feel you need to upskill most. 

Eco Surgery Drop-ins 

Questions answered about worship with a creation care theme, energy efficiency and church buildings, churchyards, community engagement, funding, campaigning and much more! Simply join any of the drop in sessions below at your convenience. No need to register in advance.

The Bible and Ecology Course

Seven-session course facilitated by Rev Ruth Newton. How is Christianity responding to the challenge of the Climate Crisis? What are the connections between ecological concerns and faith? Does the Bible help or hinder us when thinking about creation-care? Is Salvation just for humans? 

Taking place on Zoom Tuesdays 7.30-9pm. Commencing Tuesday 3rd November and concluding 15th December.

God’s creation is in trouble and consequently so are we. People are speaking up: students coming out on climate strikes; councils such as Leeds, Kirklees, Otley, Harrogate declaring climate emergencies; Extinction Rebellion protests; even David Attenborough has spoken up and called for action. But what would Jesus do? And what should my church do?
