Mission Resource Day 2020: “Planting Here“
What does church planting and growth look like in the specific local contexts we find ourselves in? How does it work in smaller churches or city centres? What lessons can we share about planting into urban estates, among specific age groups and in diverse communities? Bishop Ric Thorpe
St Hild College is partnering with the Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication and STC Sheffield to provide a day of storytelling and reflection on church growth and planting in the local contexts of Yorkshire and the surrounding region. Contributors include Ric Thorpe (Gregory CCX), Linda Maslen (Fountains, Bradford), Nick and Marjorie Allan (The Well, Sheffield), Mick Woodhead (STC, Sheffield), Al Kaye (St Luke’s, Holbeck) and Peter Dunn (Biglife).
This open invitation day will bring together practitioners from around the region with students from St Hild College. It will include the opportunity to see and hear from church planting in practice, and spaces in the day to reflect with others about what God may be saying to you.
