Curates learn and grow primarily through the experience they gain in their training parish, with the support of their training incumbent.
The IME programme offers opportunities for curates to meet together to reflect on these formative experiences and to learn with and from other curates in their different contexts. The progress of each curate is assessed at key stages during the curacy to ensure that at the end of their curacy they are ready and prepared for the challenge of their next post.
