Session leader: Denis Alexander

Denis AlexanderDenis Alexander is Founding Director Emeritus of The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion at St. Edmunds College, Cambridge, where he is a Fellow. He has spent 40 years in the science research community. Denis was previously Editor of the journal Science & Christian Belief, on the UK Christians in Science national committee and on the Executive Committee of the International Society for Science and Religion. He delivered the Gifford Lectures at St. Andrews University in 2012 on the theme Genes, Determinism and God and his book with this title was published in 2017. His latest book "Is There Purpose in Biology?" is due out later this year.
