Roy is National Disability Adviser for the Church of England and Vice-President of Livability. He has lectured in ethics at St John’s College, Nottingham and chaired both Third Way magazine and Lion Hudson Publishing. He is the author of sixteen books on social issues including two on disability. He is a good cook and a bad saxophone player. He is married to Helen and they have three daughters who are ‘grown up’.
Session outline: God's Call and People with Disabilities
This session explores challenges and opportunities faced by Christians with disabilities as they deepen and live out their faith. It also includes conversation about promoting inclusion and participation of people with disabilities in church, community and at work. This will be informed by personal testimony of people with disabilities who are responding to God’s call.
