Bishop Jo Bailey-Wells

Jo Bailey Wells is the Bishop of Dorking in the Diocese of Guildford. Previously, she was a lecturer in the Old Testament and Biblical theology at Ridley Hall, Cambridge, and then associate professor of Bible and Ministry at Duke Divinity School, Duke University. Before she took up her bishop's role in September 2016, she served as Chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury, where she oversaw the founding of the Community of St Anselm. She is married to Sam Wells, a Church of England priest, and has two children, aged 15 and 14. 

Session outline: God's Call, The Old Testament and Me

In the Old Testament, unlikely, willing and reluctant people, young and old, are called to serve God in surprising ways. This session will help us reflect on these varied experiences, as we consider God’s call to each of us.
