Prayer and worship are vital to the Mothers' Union. Prayer makes a huge difference to both individuals and communities and is at the heart of what we are about.
Every day a Wave of Prayer goes around the world as members stop and pray at midday for the work of Mothers’ Union and international issues. This began in 1920 and has been happening ever since. The Wave of Prayer follows an annual pattern which means that every Mothers’ Union region is prayed for at least once during the year.
Leeds Diocese is linked with five other dioceses around the world. As we pray for each other and learn more about others' situations, we understand more about each others' concerns and can pray better.
