Shipley Mothers' Union's designs for Fairtrade

Other prize winners were Vanessa Bell of Farsley and Imaan & Toby of Kildwick Primary School.

Revd Tina Walker, Fairtrade West Yorkshire & The Dales Diocese Steering Group, commented: 

"We are delighted that one of the Adult Category winners, Vanessa Bell, comes from a business in Farsley.

"Vanessa told us: 'Geo2 only buys Fairtrade products for their tea and coffee supplies.'"
Geo2 are a firm providing specialist sustainable solutions for contaminated land. 

In a recent Diocesan Synod on 12 March, Synod members enthusiastically supported a motion to work towards becoming a Fairtrade diocese by encouraging all churches and Church Schools to support and encourage Fairtrade. More here.
