Cielo, a social enterprise coffee house in the centre of Leeds, hopes to open another coffee house on the ground floor of the new diocesan offices in York Place, and they’re endeavouring to do it through crowd funding.
The founder Nick Castle says, “Cielo is all about great coffee in lovely spaces and generating profit to put back into the community - and with this venture, into the Diocese. Our aim is also to build better community cohesion and reduce loneliness.
“By opening another coffee house in conjunction with the Diocese of Leeds (in the business district where the new offices are located), we can help build a community around the business workers in Leeds and make a stronger connection with church.
“If you’d like to help, please visit our crowd funding page here . The campaign ends on 30 July.”
