The garden of Hollin House (the home of Bishop Nick & Linda Baines) in North Leeds will be open to visit on the afternoons of Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July in aid of St Gemma’s Hospice, for which Bishop Nick is patron.
It’s a garden for all the family with woodland walks across a pretty mill race, colourful perennial beds, a Victorian rockery, herb garden, tree house and play area.
Inside the house there will be a display (and sale) of original artwork by local artists.
There are plenty of places to sit and contemplate the beauty of this particular spot of Leeds which was once the home of Captain Oates of Antarctica.
The event is part of St Gemma’s Open Garden season which runs through the summer
A donation for St Gemma’s is requested on entry and there’ll be hot and cold drinks, cakes & biscuits available to buy.
