Pray for our 16 new priests and 15 upcoming deacons

The diocese is being encouraged to pray for its new deacons and priests, being ordained at ongoing ‘Petertide’ services over the next few weeks. An ‘Ember card’ has been published to be downloaded and used to pray for the 31 men and women being ordained. Download the Ember Card as a  PDF here.

Ordinations of our new deacons will take place at Wakefield Cathedral at the end of this month with Bishop of Leeds, the Rt Revd Nick Baines conducting two ordination services at 11am and 3pm on Saturday, June 29.
