The Diocese of Leeds was pleased to host the Church of England’s online service to mark Racial Justice Sunday on Sunday, February 8.
People spent the morning of Friday, January 30 learning about how pilgrimages can help them engage with their communities and beyond at a Pilgrimages Day at Ripon Cathedral.
Some 70 people gathered at St Richard’s Seacroft recently to have meaningful conversations about the topic of migration.
People will gather at Leeds Minster on Tuesday, February 10, to explore how we hear from God and our sense of calling.
The Listed Places of Worship Scheme, which allows listed churches to claim back VAT on building works, will end on Tuesday, March 31.
Racial Justice Sunday is on February 8, and the Diocese of Leeds is engaging with the day and its themes.
The Diocese of Leeds and the Church of England have events, retreats and resources to help churches and individuals draw near to God and one another this Lent.

Links between the Diocese of Leeds and an Anglican diocese in Hong Kong have been developed, thanks to a recent visit from the Rt Revd Arun Arora, Bishop of Kirkstall, and the Revd David Ho Young, Rector of Moor Allerton and Shadwell.
