People will gather at Leeds Minster on Tuesday, March 10, to explore how we hear from God and our sense of calling.
‘Calling – How Do I Know?’ at Leeds Minster is the first of our programme of Exploring Vocations Together events, events run by the Diocesan Vocations Team to help people investigate when God might be calling them to new things.
The evening runs from 7pm to 9pm, and will be an open evening with Bishop Chris Edmondson, exploring how we listen for God’s voice, how calling takes shape, and how we might begin to discern whether God is inviting us into a life of ministry.
This event is for anyone wondering about vocation, whether you feel a nudge, a question, or simply curiosity about how God guides.
The Revd Canon Sean Robertshaw, Diocesan Director of Vocations, said: “Our annual programme of Exploring Vocations Together events in the Diocese of Leeds are opportunities for anyone who feels God may be prompting or nudging them towards something new.
“These gatherings offer space to listen to inspiring speakers, talk with others who are on a similar journey, and begin discerning how God speaks, and how God might be speaking to you.
“This event is the first in our programme for the year, and we’re looking forward to welcoming a good group of people to Leeds Minster to explore calling to ministry with Bishop Chris.”
