Edward Parker-Sunderland

Before training for ordination Edward was a History student, and has subsequently studied for a further BA in Theology from the University of Oxford whilst training for orders at St Stephen’s House. When not in church he enjoys collecting antiques of all kinds, history more generally, and outdoor pursuits, and will be combining all these by undertaking a further degree in Archaeology alongside his curacy. He is deeply pleased to be serving his title in the “biretta belt” villages of The Priory Benefice. He is looking forward to returning home to Yorkshire, after three years down south, and to getting involved in all of the pastoral scenarios, teaching, offices and opportunities to walk alongside people in their faith journey which his diaconal year will bring.
