Generosity Week 2025 runs from Sunday, September 28 to Sunday, October 5, and churches across the diocese are being encouraged to get involved.
The Rt Revd Arun Arora, the Church of England’s co-lead Bishop for Racial Justice and Bishop of Kirkstall, has called upon Christians “to reclaim both the flag and the faith that is being desecrated by those who would use both to divide us as a nation.”
Twenty Mission Apprentices have started their year of service across the Bradford and Leeds areas.
Thanks to a Diocesan Net Zero Carbon Quick Wins Fund grant, St Wilfrid’s Harrogate have been able to make changes to their lighting on their path to net zero, and there are still grants available.

During this Season of Creation, the Church of England is encouraging all churches to consider switching to a green energy tariff as part of a campaign for there to be a Great Switch for Creation.
The next stage of our Vacancy in See process is underway, with an open online forum being held on Thursday, September 11, at 6pm.
Churches across the diocese and beyond will be celebrating Yorkshire Churches Day on Saturday, September 13.
