Are you a priest with a love for God, a commitment to rural ministry, and a passion for enabling the wider community to flourish? If so, please read on; and may the Holy Spirit move you to consider coming here and working alongside us.
The Fountains Benefice offers the best of all worlds: it sits in glorious North Yorkshire, tucked between the moors, the River Ure and the Fountains Abbey / Studley Royal World Heritage Site. It is rural and peaceful, yet remains in close touch with Ripon, Harrogate and Leeds. Its active and flourishing communities are friendly and welcoming, and open and receptive to new ideas. It is a joyful place to live, serve and work.
Its seven churches, across four parishes (one a Methodist LEP), are upheld by an active and engaged group of Churchwardens, an excellent Ministry Team and Methodist Minister colleague, and committed lay support. We look forward to helping our new Rector to discern a shared vision for a lively and faith-filled future for the benefice.
