Clergy Vacancies

Prison Chaplain - HM Prison Wakefield

A Church of England/Anglican Chaplain is required to join an enthusiastic Multi-Faith Team at HM Prison Wakefield. Chaplains provide for the specific needs of prisoners of their own faith and general pastoral support to those of any faith or belief. Prison Chaplaincy offers a uniquely balanced ministry, supporting a strong congregation while maintaining outreach through care and support. There are opportunities to develop through delivering small groups aimed at faith development or general pastoral needs.

2025 Curacy Parishes Opportunities

We are pleased to have a number of curacy opportunities to offer across the Diocese of Leeds, for commencement in Summer 2025. Here in Leeds, we are committed to life-long learning of clergy and lay people. As such, curates can expect a programme of Initial Ministerial Education 2 (IME2) which focusses on equipping clergy with the knowledge and skills they will need for their ministerial life, but also seeks to inspire them towards further development throughout their ministry.
