Twenty-four deacons were ordained priests this weekend at services across the diocese.
Thirteen cyclists took part in a day of cycling on Friday, June 9, with two riders heading from Ripon Cathedral to Bradford, ten from Bradford Cathedral to Wakefield, and one covering the entire journey!
This summer local cyclists will be invited to make a pedal pilgrimage from either Ripon Cathedral to Bradford Cathedral, or Bradford Cathedral to Wakefield Cathedral, as part of this year’s national ‘Cathedrals Cycle Route’.
A short service will be held at Bradford Cathedral on Tuesday, April 25 at 5:30pm to offer prayers to those caught up in the conflict that has erupted in Sudan over the last week.
The Diocese of Leeds is offering the opportunity to join its two-year Bradford Mission Apprentice scheme from September 2023.
Excellent interfaith work in the Bradford area has been celebrated at a recent awards ceremony.
World Book Day isn’t just for schools, as the parish of Kildwick, Cononley and Bradley found out this last week.
The National Day of Reflection – which takes place on the third anniversary of the first COVID lockdown – will be marked at the Cathedral through ‘trees of remembrance’ and the chance to light candles.
Services have taken place across the diocese marking the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as people continue to pray for peace and justice in the region.
A second Prayer Vigil for Peace in Ukraine will be held at Bradford Cathedral on Friday, February 24, from 6pm - 7pm.
