Twenty Mission Apprentices have started their year of service across the Bradford and Leeds areas.
One of our Leeds area churches has used our Compass tool to help develop their next steps in mission.
AN amazing twenty-two people, including residents and staff, have been confirmed at St George’s Crypt, in the first such service since it opened 95 years ago.
Three churches in our diocese have successfully secured grants to make their buildings more accessible, with more grants still available.
Some 530 people across the diocese have heard about plans for an improved approach to Parish Share at a series of online meetings.
Thirteen new deacons were ordained at Wakefield Cathedral on Saturday, June 28 at a joyful service of celebration.
Some 60 people gathered at Fountains Church on Tuesday, June 10, to celebrate and give thanks for our Bradford Mission Apprentices and Diocesan Interns, celebrating all that God has done in and through them during the time they have been serving their churches.
Revd Phil Arnold, vicar of Christ Church Upper Armley, will swim the 21 miles of the English Channel, in his local pool in aid of vital church building improvements.
Parents of children with additional needs in the Leeds area have been getting together and helping one another as part of a support group being run by St Luke’s Holbeck.
Ann Weir, an active member of St. George's, Leeds, was among honoured recipients of Maundy Money from King Charles in one of the oldest royal ceremonies.
