A face-to-face course to learn about Disability Awareness in churches. This 3 hour course will cover definitions and models of disability, theology, practical tips, how to help people with invisible disabilities, and how to work with children with disabilities and additional needs. These Saturday training days are more specialised than our Disability Awareness Training. The mornings are for Parish Disability Reps, or those thinking about becoming a Parish Rep, and the afternoons focus on different, specific disabilities and how we can support those with particular needs. To view dates for these sessions as they are added, please click here

Mental Health First Aid

A one-day course which provides an opportunity An apple with a heart engravedto learn more about pastoral care of people with mental health problems organised by the Lay Training Team and delivered by an external MHFA instructor.
