Duncan Milwain

Duncan Milwain will be serving in the parish of Bradford St. Peter in the benefice of Bradford Cathedral in the episcopal area of Bradford. He has been training for ordination at St. Hild College where he is currently studying for an MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission. Duncan is married to Kerry. He has two children from his first marriage - Edmund (22) and Isla (20) and is expecting a child with Kerry in the week before ordination.  Duncan has been a solicitor for 30 years - initially in London and, since 2000, in Leeds. Part of his practice has been in advising charities and social enterprises and it is this work that has involved him in acting as trustee or director of a range of organisations in the areas of food, social exclusion and music.  He has for many years advocated in relation to the environmental and social issue of food waste, including running for four years a surplus food cafe in Saltaire.  He enjoys cooking, music and singing.
