NEW RESOURCES TO HELP YOU PROMOTE THE PGS

The Parish Giving Scheme team have developed a  selection of ready-made social media content to help you promote the PGS to your congregation and community, The social media posts can be easily integrated into your own social media campaigns, especially around Generosity Week. There are posts that can be used on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and they focus on key messages such as the 3 Ways to Give to the PGS and inflation proofing your giving. The content is available to all parishes who have already registered for the PGS and can be accessed by all Personal Statement Receivers when logging in to their MY PGS account on the PGS website or here

PGS DIGITAL SERVICE LAUNCHED

Following a successful pilot throughout January & February the Parish Giving Scheme launched its new digital service across the country on 1st March 2021.

The digital service offers donors a new online method for setting up regular giving by direct debit via the Parish Giving Scheme website at www.parishgiving.org.uk.  This new online method means that there are now three, simple and secure ways to give to your church via the PGS; online, by phone and by post.

The digital service offers donors complete control over their giving with 24/7 access to their online giving account and the freedom to change the value of their direct debit and their giving preferences at any time.

Parishes, already registered with the PGS, can also access a whole host of resources to help them promote the PGS Digital Service to their congregations and local community. PGS Statement Receivers can download the resources by logging in to their account on the PGS website at www.parishgiving.org.uk

For an introduction to the PGS Digital Service watch a recorded webinar by Stewardship Officer, Janet Edmond.
