Bishop James, the Bishop for Ripon Episcopal Area, has recorded a two minute video in and around Harrogate to promote the 'Day Out', which takes place at a host of venues across the the town on Saturday June 14th.

Churches from across the new dioceses are being invited to come along and enjoy the one day event which will showcase new ways of doing church in a variety of town centre churches and venues, centred on St Peter’s Church Harrogate. On offer to dip into will be pioneer projects, children's activities, messy church, sweaty church, café church, forest church, music, drama, street activities and opportunity to enjoy Harrogate’s attractions too.

You and your group can dip in and out of the programme and enjoy the delights of Harrogate including Valley Gardens or the café culture and shops of Harrogate. It is the kind of day you can bring whole families to, including the people who don’t normally come to church. You can make it a parish weekend if you use the “Sunday Pack” back home.”
