St John’s Church and Etz Chaim Synagogue in Moor Allerton, Leeds have erected a banner across the shared entrance to their car parks showing their joint support for Le Tour de France.
Revd Charles Dobbin, Vicar of St John’s, says, "The synagogue president, Neil Frieze, and I felt it important that our communities should be really supportive of such a great national event, and thought we should say so together. The inter faith cooperation came when I was at the top of the ladder tying the poster up, and he was at the bottom of the ladder holding it down! This is just the latest of a number of projects we have worked on together."
