Wakefield Cathedral has opened a not-for-profit café operated by Age UK Wakefield, aimed at providing support for older people in their community.
The Most Revd Stephen Cottrell, Archbishop of York, has been in the Diocese of Leeds recently visiting schools and churches sharing the importance of the Lord’s Prayer, helping people to grow in their discipleship.
Vocations Sunday is on Sunday, April 26, and the Diocese of Leeds is supporting the day with resources, an event and a new video.
