Hours: 17.5 hours (over two, three, or four days)

Make a Difference in Church School Estates
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented School Buildings Administrator to join our Education Team. This key role supports the Diocesan Board of Education (DBE) in managing capital projects, allocating grants, and advising school leaders across our network of 236 Church schools, including 10 Multi-Academy Trusts. No two days are the same in this unique field. You’ll work closely with our School Buildings Officer to deliver statutory responsibilities and ensure our schools and academies are safe, well-maintained, and future-ready.

What You’ll Do
Support Capital Projects: Assist with administrating the annual capital programme and project management for school buildings and sites.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with school leaders, consultants, and contractors.
Strategic Contribution: Support the planning and delivery of diocesan education policy and sustainability initiatives.
Administrative Excellence: Manage project invoicing, documentation, reporting, and website updates related to school building matters.

About You
You’ll be:
An organised administrator with excellent communication skills.
Experienced in - or ready to quickly learn - grant sourcing, estates management, and capital funding processes.
A collaborative team player with a passion for education and sustainability.

Travel Required: The Diocese of Leeds is the largest geographically in the country, so a willingness to travel is essential.

The package includes a competitive salary, flexi-time scheme, reimbursement of  travelling expenses, an 8% non-contributory pension with an additional 5% matched contributions, hybrid working (50%), Cycle to work scheme, EV salary sacrifice scheme and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and four customary days a year (between Christmas and New Year).
